Please help me oh Lord, I’m all out of fight,
Satan’s beaten me down throughout the long night.
But somehow, still standing, not certain of why,
it must be your strength that’s getting me by.
For long has this battle worn me too thin,
not sure I can take one more on the chin.
But You promise to rescue, I’m quite sure this is clear,
no doubt that’s why I’m still standing right hear.
For your strength is made perfect in my weakness that’s right,
a truth from your word that leads me this night.
Now get up, dust off and get back in the game,
you’re a Christian son, never forget your name!
And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2 Cor 12:9
